manual lymphdrainage

Due to various causes, lymphatic fluid may accumulate in certain parts of the body. A distinction is made between primary (congenital malformation or dysfunction of the lymphatic vessels) and secondary (for example due to injuries, operations, scars or after radiation) lymphoedema. This liquid consists mainly of water and protein.

Manual lymphatic drainage is a treatment method to block this build-up of edema in the body. It uses soft techniques. Furthermore, existing scars are mobilized to release bonds.
